Pastoral Care

Rev. Jeanne is a compassionate and dedicated individual who has spent her life serving her rural community just east of Vernon, in various capacities. She is one of the founding members of the Cherryville Food Bank and Cherryville Re-Use-It, both initiatives aimed at supporting low-income families.

Her commitment to helping others extends to her work with the Upper Room Mission in Vernon, where she volunteers her time to assist the homeless and those in need. Jeanne’s love for her community is also reflected in her long-term involvement with the Richlands Community Cemetery, where she served as Trustee and Treasurer for 30 years.

In addition to her community service, Jeanne is deeply connected to nature and finds spiritual solace in the outdoors. She enjoys activities such as kayaking, camping, and hiking. Her ability to connect with people, coupled with her compassionate nature, makes her a valuable member of any community.

Personal Growth

Jeanne continually seeks personal growth, particularly in areas that enhance her ability to serve others. She enrolled in an online course for American Sign Language, motivated by her desire to communicate better with deaf guests at the Upper Room Mission. She also learned first aid, in case she needed to help someone on the streets in medical distress. Jeanne’s dedication to learning and self-improvement is a testament to her commitment to helping others.

Closing Words

Jeanne is a loving, honest, and reliable individual who brings a wealth of compassion and dedication to her community. Her belief in the importance of love, peace, and helping others aligns perfectly with the values of the Clergy Support Memorial Church. She brings warmth, empathy, and a genuine love for people to every ceremony she performs.
