Rev. Roger Knox

The Clergy Support Memorial Church board was in full agreement to certify the Rev. Roger Knox to the office of Appointed Designated Minister in October of 2017. Rev Roger’s qualifications include his character, his people skills, the desire to serve and years of public speaking experience. He values Outreach Ministry work and prefers the CSMC foundation of meeting people where they are, bringing pastoral care to them.

A Few Words About Roger

With a heart for community service, Roger has actively contributed to several organizations in the North Okanagan. He is currently a director of the North Okanagan Youth and Family Services Society, where he dedicates time to support local families and youth. His past roles as a director for the Okanagan Sports Hall of Fame, president of the North Okanagan-Shuswap Crime Stoppers Society, and a member of the Vernon Kinsmen Club speak to his commitment to bettering his community.

In addition to his community service, Roger brings an easygoing personality and a love for storytelling, grounded in his experience as a journalist and public speaker. His appreciation for people’s journeys is evident in his hobbies, which include photography, reading biographies, and cooking – pursuits that allow him to connect and share with others.
