The Clergy Support Memorial Church Board was in full agreement to certify the Rev. Dale Morrison to the Office of Appointed Designated Minister – Life Celebrations and Pastoral Care on September 20, 2020. Dale is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping others. She is a person who uses empathy in her caring activities, especially in the area of music in her local community, bringing a beam of joy to those isolated people in her community.

Dale believes that God has an amazing ability to open her heart and mind to focus her life towards he building of God’s Kingdom, and she feels called to share that with others.
Dale has been a life-long member (67 years) of the Anglican Church and has given her time to several ministries in her local parish, in which she continues to worship and assist in worship ministries. She currently attends and serves as a Lay Reader for St. Mary’s Metchosin Anglican church.
Dale has generously given her time, talents and skills to her community being a creator and organizer her community singers’ group, also organizing the Java Jive Coffee House in her local congregation. She has also participated in the Sooke Fine Arts Show, Sooke Secret Garden Tour, and the East Sooke Community Hall Committee. Dale has served her small local community for many years, mainly in the area of music, and now she has her sights on sharpening her gardening skills to add this to her list of skills to serve her community.
Dale enjoys reading, and she is a member of a book club that meets at various members’ homes once per month. One member lives in a care facility and this gives Dale the opportunity to offer outreach services there. Dale also enjoys working on genealogy, music, and is a member of two garden clubs.
